Hi,

My customer has been performing the power cycle test for their system which uses DS90UB964-Q1 on board.

Can you please let me know the power-down requirement that DS90UB964-Q1 has to follow?
For example, the minimum voltage level that supply voltage has to be getting lower than that level and/or its minimum duration.

On top of that, please let me know if any power-down requirements that customer has to follow.

Ken,
There are no specific power-down requirements or sequence for the FPD-Link devices unless specifically mentioned in the datasheet. There is not much concern for power down sequence as with power-up. It would be better if PDB is brought low first during power down.
For power-up sequence and requirements you can refer to the 964 datasheet.

Thank you for your reply! Let me confirm.

There are no requirements on power-down sequence (except PDB recommended to be going low first).
Also, no specific voltage and/or duration requirement.

This means it's not required that the supply voltage goes down to GND level for xxx ms, before ramping up again.
Correct?

Hello Kenichiro-san,

once you power down the device you need to make sure that PDB pin goes to 0 V and stays low at least 3 mS.
