DP83822I: Recommended Max Junction Temp

Hi Team,

Can you comment if there is a recommended max junction temp for the DP83822I? The datasheet lists an absolute max of 135C and recommended ambient of 85C. I would assume it would be the thermal shutdown temperature.

Alex,

We specify the max ambient temperature. It would be redundant and ambiguous to specify both because the junction temperature will change based on power dissipation, thermal resistance of the board, and ambient temperature.

With a heat soaked PCB in an 85C ambient environment, we saw junction temp reaching ~95C during characterization.
