[ DS90UB914A-Q1 ] Datasheet Update (Rev B to C)

Hi,

Would you please help me to clarify the point below with regards to the datasheet update (Rev. B to C)?

<Q1>:

With regards to the recently added specification “Power-Over-Coax Supply Noise”, if the board cannot meet this, what kind of issue can be expected on DS90UB913A-Q1 and its link?

<Q2>:

It seems that no “tDLH” and “tDHL” notation in the Figure 6.
Are same 20-80 conditions applied for “tDLH” and “tDHL” as well?

<Q3>:

This should be typo…”Deserializer” is the valid name.

Thank you for your support in advance.
Regards,
Ken

  • Ken,
    1. Keep in mind this is a typical guideline of 10mVp-p. It is recommended to keep the noise below this limit to ensure a good amount of margin for the system operation. This is not a "spec" but rather a recommended guideline, so if this is not met that does not necessarily mean the system will fail as it depends on the overall system design but can translate to less margin as excess noise can cause additional jitter.
    2. Yes, same 20 - 80% for tDLH and tDHL.
    3. This is a typo, I can note this down as a datasheet change.
  • Thanks, Pal!

I have sent a document feedback, too.

    Regards,
    Ken
