AM26LV31E: AM26LV31E output impedance

I am doing a design of RS422 interface driving 100 ohm load. I'd like to know the output impedance of AM26LV31E so that resistors in series can be added to match the load exactly.

Jin,

You can refer to this blog for the discussion about termination. Generally speaking, if the bus is terminated properly at the receiver side, the reflection should be minimized and the driver side won't see much reflected energy. With that said, you can refer to Figure 2 in section 6.8 (page 8) on the datasheet of THVD1500 for the driver's output impedance. Please let me know if you have more questions.

Hello Hao,

Thanks for the information. I want to confirm that - Figure 2 shows a 5V operating range, while Vcc of AM26LV31E is 3.3V. The slope calculated based on Figure's scale will apply to AM26LV31E without change?
