TPS65987D: TPS65987DDJ patch bundle download ends with Patch not compatible with ROM

Hello,

I'm using the TPS65987DDJ and the Application Customization tool version 6.1.1. In my design there is no external SPI flash and the patch bundle is downloaded from a EC. Therefore, I'm using the PTCx commands (PTCs, PTCd, PTCc).

The PTCs and PTCd commands do not return an error code. However, the PTCc command is returning 0x42 - Patch not compatible with this version of ROM. I have attached the project file and low region patch config file in a .c array. My pinstrap settings are:

* SPI_MISO: 0

* BP_ECWait_Internal, Infinite Wait

Is the TPS65987DDJ not compatible with the patch generated from the Application Customization tool?

Hello Chamira,

The 6.1.1 customization tool is not compatible with the TPS65987DDJ. You must use the GUI that incorporates this device. On the product page, you can see a link where you need to request the material associated with the TPS65987DDJ. You will need to follow this link, request the material associated with the TPS65987DDJ, and use this GUI to create the binary image
