Hi,

I'am searching for a "one chip solution" to deserialize a LVDS FPD Signal  in a 18 or 24bit RGB Signal.

It should be possible to connect 3D+1C or 4D+1C signalpairs.

There is a solution on serializer side, the DS90C185, where you can choose 18bit or 24bit mode.

Is there any deserializer chip which has 18bit and 24 bit mode, too? Or is it maybe possible to connect only 3D+1C signal to the DS90CF384?

    Hi,

    If you use a device like the DS90CF384 you can simply connect only 3D+C. However, I recommend that you use resistors to bias the unused LVDS input so that the LVCMOS ouputs of the device do not toggle due to noise on the inputs.
