Hi Toshi-san,

I have a copy of the SMPTE 424M standard but am unfamiliar with a SMPTE 424 "non-M" specification. Do you have a copy of the specification that you could attach to this thread?

Interesting. I was able to look at the abstract, but do not have access to the full text of the standard. Allow me a few days to confer with Nasser Mohammadi to see if he may know of this standard. He is out of office today.

Hi Kobayashi-san,

I explored this question some more and found out that there is a new numbering style for SMPTE Standards. SMPTE ST-424 is the same as SMPTE 424M. Please see the following link to see an explanation:

If our part supports SMPTE 424M, then they also can be said to support SMPTE ST-424, since they are the same.
