DP83822I: Error signal at MII interface

Hi Team,

In LXT971A from Cortina Systems, it has error signal pin (TX_ER) at MII operation. Could you tell me why DP83822I doesn't have TX_ER pin for MII interface? Does MII operation require TX_ER?

Hi Sasaki-san,

The TX_ER signal is optional on the MII. It is typically used for repeaters.
