TUSB321: TUSB321 ID Pin Question

Part Number: TUSB321

Dear Sir/Ms.

My customer has following question. Would you please give me a hand?

Regarding the IDpin of the TUSB321, there are several cases, please help confirm, thank you!
1, when using typeC adapter cable, when the external mouse keyboard, ID pin is default H changed L?
2. When using the typeC adapter cable, when the machine is connected to the USB port of the PC, does the ID pin still maintain H unchanged?

Best Regards,

Kami Huang

ID pin is an open drain out, it needs to be pulled to 3.3V through a 200kohm resistor.

When connecting to a mouse or a keyboard, TUSB321 will be the source (DFP), so ID pin will be asserted low.
When connecting to a PC, the PC will be the source (DFP), TUSB321 will be the sink (UFP), so ID pin will be pulled high.

    Thanks
