TPS65987D: USB Type-C/PD Hub, Single Input / Dual Output Block Diagram

Hi all

My customer is working on a stand-alone USB Type-C/PD Hub powered from USB Type-C, meaning this design will have three USB Type-C connectors:

One input (sink only) and two outputs (source only).

They are looking at the TPS65987D and the TPS65988.

Can you comment how to best implement this and what devices to use ?

Hi Ueli,

The TPS65987D and TPS65988 are definitely the correct devices to be looking at. You can refer the customer to the TPS65988EVM and TPS65987EVM to begin their design.

Can you point to a Reference Design or provide a block diagram for such a Hub ?

Is there other collateral that would be helpful for getting started ?
