ISO1050: ISO1050DUBR

Part Number: ISO1050
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65HVD1050

Hello Expert,

I am using ISO1050DUBR IBIS model for my CAN SI Simulation downloaded from link: ISO1050 data sheet, product information and support | TI.com

I verified this same model using ANSYS SPISim and observed an error: '' Model ''CANL_BI': Currents <> 0.0mA in 'Pulldown' for Open_source device'' as shown below:

Do you have any updated/correct model available for this?

  • Hi Pali,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

We currently do not have an new version of the model.

The current values are 0 because they have very small values and most likely

were being truncated during the ibis model generating/exporting process.

I will reach out to the stakeholder to look into the issue and get back to you.

In the meantime, could you please modify the line 1977 from 0 to a very small number as shown below?

Copy line 1978 current value to line 1977 and change from E-12 to E-15, and try it out.

    Regards,

    Alfred

  • Hello Alfred,

Thank you so much for your response!
Please let me know if you have any update from the stakeholder.

Also, I tried the changes at my end as you suggested, copied line item 1978 to 1977 with E-12 changed to E-15, but I am still getting the same error as before.

    Regards,

  • Hi Pali,

Unfortunately, the ISO1050 ibis model was developed more than 10 years ago, and there is no plan for an update.

ISO1050 uses SN65HVD1050 IO and thus they share the same IO characteristics. You can download the ibis model

from https://www.ti.com/product/SN65HVD1050#design-development. This model was created for IBIS version 3.2,

please modify the version to 4.0 on line 8 if your simulator can't handle older version ibis model.

    Regards,

    Alfred
