Hi Support Team.
Is ISO7741FDWR IEC60747-5-5:2007 certified?
Thanks,

Hi Hayashi-san,
Thanks for reaching out.
The standard IEC 60747-5-5 is defined for optocouplers and hence, it doesn't apply to capacitive and other types of isolators. Instead, TI digital isolators are certified for VDE 0884-11 which applies to both capacitive and magnetic isolators. Please see below two links for more information, thanks.

Hi Hayashi-san,
I would also like to mention that we now certify our devices for the newer IEC 60747-17 standard (link below). You can find VDE certificates for IEC 60747-17 on digital isolator product folder. Thanks.

Hi Rao,
Thank you for answering.
I have checked the detailed link below.
There was a description of IEC 60747-5-5:2020 at https://webstore.iec.ch/publication/33378.
I think IEC60747-5-5:2007 is an old standard for 2020,
Does IEC60747-5-5:2007 not apply?
Thanks,
Yutaro Hayashi.
Hi Hayashi-san,
IEC 60747-5-5 standard is only applicable to 'Optocouplers' while IEC 60747-17 is applicable to 'Capacitive or Magnetic Digital Isolators'. Since TI has digital isolators, therefore IEC 60747-17 is the appropriate standard to evaluate our devices. I hope this is clear.
Thanks,
