SN6507DGQEVM: the SN6507DGQEVM PCB- and Schematic design files

Part Number: SN6507DGQEVM

Hi team,

I help the customer ask a question.

"I would like to use SN6507DGQ TI IC since they are currently available in the market fit for my project. I am looking for the SN6507DGQEVM PCB design files and Schematic design files but they are not available on the TI website, would it be possible for TI to send me the EVM file containing the PCB and Schematic file of the SN6507DGQ? Only the PDF files are available."

Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards,

  • Hi Zhonghui,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Please find below the Gerber files for SN6507DGQEVM. Schematic and other EVM information can be found in the EVM User Guide, I have shared the link below. Thanks.

  • Hi Koteshwar,

    Thank you for your help.

    I get feedback from customers.

"Before I contacted TI for assistance, I already checked the SN6507DGQEVM PDF file. The problem I have with the top layer is that it is not very clear especially with the pin connections. I opened the Gerber file using Altium Designer version 20 but still I am experiencing the same problem. Is it possible the application engineer to post the PCB file itself? If that is not possible, may he advise how to they went about designing pin 3, 4, 5 and 6. These are the only pins I am struggling to understanding."

    Thanks

    Best regards,

  • Hi Zhonghui,

Thanks for sharing customer inputs. I am not clear what about the issue that customer is facing. The pins 4, 5 and 6 are all connected to jumpers J6, J13 and J9, respectively. The J6 jumper has provision for shorting to VCC or GND, J13 to a resistor (RDC) or OPEN and J9 to a resistor (RSR) or OPEN. Pin 3 / VCC gets connected to VIN through vias and resistor R16.

If this doesn't answer customer question, please do help elaborate the issue being faced. Thanks.
