SN6505B: Review Schematic

1.Kindly review the schematic file, wherein Both the positive(+5V) and negative (-5V) supplies are generated.

2. How will current consumption be shared between both supplies? 

3. Later versions, if I need more current, I will be replacing T1 with "750316029", will it be alright?

    Thank you for sharing the schematic for review, please find my inputs below.

    1. The schematic mostly looks good. I noticed that the -5V rail was not connected to the D1/D2 intersection, this is needed to generate a negative voltage. Please see below example schematic from datasheet.
    2. The power / current distribution between the two rails is going to be proportional to the matching between the two windings on the secondary. If these windings are matched well, the distribution is also going to be similar.
    3. Yes, using transformer "750316029" for higher current is fine with SN6505B.
      1. Please note that the 0.9A current rating specified in the transformer datasheet refers to the input current rating. The output current will be lower by the turns-ratio, i.e., Total output current = Input current / turns-ratio = 0.9A / 2.1 = 428mA.
      2. This current will split between each output rail, in this case, it will be 214mA each.
