ISOUSB211: CDPENx PIN

Hi, all

        1. both CDPEN1 and CDPEN2 must be pull high or low together, is it right? Can CDPEN1 and CDPEN2 be floated ?

        2. if CDPEN1=high and CDPEN2=low, can ISOUSB211 still work?

    Hi Ken,

    Thanks for reaching out, please find my inputs below.

    1. They should be made LOW to enable CDP advertising. It is preferred that the pins are made LOW or HIGH to enabled or disable the feature.
    2. Yes, USB communication should work fine irrespective of CDPENx status. CDPENx only needs to be enabled on the downstream facing side where the CDP advertising is to be initiated for allowing 1.5A current to the peripheral.

    Please refer to the below example diagram where CDPENZ2 is made LOW to enable CDP advertising on the downstream facing side enabling 1.5A of current to the peripheral. Thanks.
