SN6507: What would be the efficiency at Vin 24V and Vout 5.5V

Hi expert,

Customer want to use our SN6507 as a DCDC isolated power design.

Their requirement is Vin=24V and Vout=5.5V/2A. 

Because there's no efficiency data at this situation in datasheet, may we have your comment to know if it's doable at this situation with SN6507?

    Hi Cindy,

    Thanks for reaching out.
    SN6507 should be able to achieve ~90% at max load for 24V input and 5.5V output provided the components are chosen accordingly. Transformer, switching frequency and rectifier diodes play key roles in determining the maximum efficiency. Please follow datasheet design guidelines to choose optimum components, thanks.
