Team,
There is a description in the d/s. it says ISO14x0 is able to pass criterion A +/-4KV EFT test. We'd like to know the setup looks like and what conditions were with this EFT test.
Could you share more on this! Very thanks.

Hi Brian,
The setup for ISO1450 EFT test consists of EFT generator which is connected to the RS485 bus with EFT capacitive coupling clamp and the EFT generator negative & GND2 is connected to PE (protective Earth).
And the ISO1450 passes the following EFT waveform for ±4kV.
Thanks

Thanks for feedback. However customer would need more details. is that possible to offer system setup picture or test waveform in practicle. also, any other external components on the board to enhance the EFT capbility? thanks.
Hi Brian,
The following setup was used to test EFT capability of ISO14x0 devices.
The test waveform matches the waveform mentioned in my previous response. No other external component is needed to enhance the EFT capability if all the design and layout guidelines are followed as per datasheet.
Thanks
