Hi team,

Could you let me know how to interpret output current rating IOH of ISO1211?

When VCC=3.3V, IOH min. is specified as -3mA.

Does it specify the maximum sink current allowed?

I don't get why sink current is specified for output high current.

Actually, my current is going to drive NPN transistor with 0.1mA base current.

My customer just want to check if it is OK.

    Sorry for the delayed response.

    Does it specify the maximum sink current allowed?
    It doesn't specify the maximum sink current allowed; the negative sign signifies the direction of the current. Any current going out of the device is specified negative. 

    hence, for Vcc = 3.3V. IOH (min) = -3mA means that the device can source Maximum of 3mA out of the device. 

    The 0.1mA current for NPN transistor is well within the device driving capabilities.
