The letter 'B' indicates that the device is a Basic Isolation version of the original device ISO6721 which is a reinforced isolator. The definition of basic and reinforced isolation according to VDE 0884-17 or IEC 60747-17 is that any device that supports a Surge rating (VIOSM) of >10kV is rated as reinforced isolator while device with <10kV VIOSM are rated as basic isolators.
