ISO7320FC: Quiescent current?

Part Number: ISO7320FC

Hi Team,

Good day. I would like to know what is the Maximum Quiescent Supply Current of this device. is there a Quiescent Current for digital isolators?

Thanks

Regards,

Marvin

  • Hello Marvin,

Thank you for your question. Since digital isolators don't have a idle or low power mode, the quiescent current is simply the ICC or supply current. The supply current depends on the configuration of the device and is listed for different conditions in the Electrical Characteristics tables in the datasheet.

For example, for the ISO7320FC, if 5V is used for VCC1 and VCC2 with a 25Mbps input signal, the maximum current would be 2.3mA on VCC1 and 6.8mA on VCC2. If a different supply voltage, data rate, or load is used this value can vary.

    Regards,
    Darrah
