  • Hello Balaji,

Thank you for reaching out. ISO1042BQDWVRQ1 is a valid orderable that is AEC qualified and rated for 5kVrms isolation. Please make sure to refer to the automotive datasheet when evaluating this part (ISO1042-Q1 ISO CAN Transceiver).

Let me know if this answered your question.

    Best,
    Andrew

  • Hi,

    Thanks for your reply

    Hi Prahlad,

We have used ISO1042BQDWVRQ1 , In datasheet they are not mentioned the short circuit steady state timing

But, In ISO1050 they mentioned the time 10uS for  short circuit steady state timing

We need a short circuit steady state timing for this ISO1042BQDWVRQ1 IC, kindly let me know

  • Hello Balaji,

The 10us interval that is shown in ISO1050 figure 17 is not a datasheet value. It is a Short-Circuit Current Test Circuit recommended for measuring the IOS(ss) parameter. Therefore, this interval is not listed in the datasheet since IOS(ss) is what is being measured.

    Best,
    Andrew
