My customer is interested in SN6507 and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

I would like to design a 12V, 24V, 48V isolated power supply circuit using a transformer driver.

The maximum value for SN6507 and UCC25800-Q1 is 36Vmax, so they cannot be used with a 48V power supply.

Is it possible to use an external FET or something so that it can be used with a 48V power supply?

Also, if you have any other products, please let me know.

    Hello Shinichi-san, 

    Thank you for considering SN6507. As you have noticed, the maximum recommended voltage for SN6507 is 36V. If the customer has a solution to step down the voltage to within the recommended conditions, then that is a good option. 

    Unfortunately, I do not know of any solution to support 12-48V. I would recommend creating a knew thread with just UCC25800-Q1 in the title. The people handling this part may have additional inputs.

    I'll confirm if UCC25800-Q1 has a solution for 48V.
