    Hello Alex,

    From a functionality perspective, the ISOM8710 is a device that can perform a similar function, however the 8 pin package and the through hole package are unique for the HCPL-7720 vs the ISOM8710.

    Is just a single channel isolated output required for the application? 

    If so the ISOM8710 would be a great option as it is a smaller package with fewer pins and has simplified control vs the HCPL-7720 as it only needs an input current control to isolate a signal.
