Hello,

I am looking for a digital isolated with integrated power which is functional safety capable.  The ISO774x-Q1 series looks perfect, only I require 3 channels in the reverse direction.

ISOW7743 or ISOW7843 would work, but I need functional safety capable.

Any suggestions for a solution?

    Thank you for your question,

    I understand you are looking for a digital isolator with integrated DC to DC with 3 reverse channels. Unfortunately TI does not provide an automotive certified ISOW device with 3 channels yet. As you have already mentioned, the ISOW7743 and ISOW7843 devices are our only 3 reverse channel digital isolators with integrated DC to DC.

    One possible solution I have is to flip the ISOW7741-Q1 by 180 degrees. By doing this, the 3 forward channels will essentially become reverse channels. Please take a look at the image below:

    Unfortunately that does not work for the direction of the isolated power (it is not reversible).

    As I mentioned previously, Unfortunately TI does not provide an automotive certified ISOW device with 3 channels. We will take this in consideration for future devices.
