and
ISO6721-Q1

internal oscillators ? (i.e. oscillator block according to the datasheet)

Do they use any kind of spread spectrum modulation for their OOK carrier?

Thank you for your question.

The internal oscillator (OOK) frequency of both of the devices is around 450MHz.

Yes, both devices use spread spectrum modulation for the OOK carrier frequencies.

I assumed it was 100KHz as ISO7221 runs with the latter frequency.

So, oscillation frequency jumped by three orders of magnitude from ISO7221 to ISO7721?

Thank you for your reply.

The ISO7710 has an OOK based architecture while the ISO7221 is edge based architecture device. This means that the ISO7221 has no carrier frequency involved.

Although both devices have oscillators, the purposes of the oscillators are different, Hence the frequency is drastically different.
