ISO1042: Max load capacitance vs rise/fall times

Part Number: ISO1042

Hi,

I'm trying to calculate the theoretical max CAN bus speed and have used the recessive RC decay time "method". However, as I understand it the max bitrate with respect to the RC decay time might not be the final limiting factor. For example it is pointed out that the transceiver driver rise/fall times in the datasheet are specifed for a bus load of 100pF, and if is this capacitive load is increased the rise/fall times will also increase.

So the question is if there is a practical maximum capacitive load for a CAN transceiver ? AND/OR if there is a mathematical relationsship between the procentual increase of rise/fall times as a function of the bus load capacitance. I havn't found anything regarding this in the datsheets.
