hi sir

I want to Design a DI module,I got the TI EVB, I Saw the J3 Connect, so sim tool for ISO1228, or need any dongle?

Hello Alex,

Thank you for reaching out.

The ISO1228DFBEVM does not need a dongle to test for normal function. J3 is a standard 2x5 pin connector that is included for convivence.

If you do not have this cable available, the EVM can be evaluated using the J5 or J8 headers.

DI need 32 ch, so need iso1228x4 on the board, we need to write code to read the ISO1228 ,

Hello Alex,

There is no sample code since the device does not need code. The most basic of the SPI setups is explained in the below datasheet section.

To read from ISO1228:

Pull nCS = low.
Provide SCLK from host controller.
Read the status of pins IN8-IN1 on SDO (bits marked as O8-O1) in the above timing diagram.
1. The output register (bits O8-O1) can be read during each address phase on SDO.
