ISO1050: Request for pin to pin reference value of ISO1050 resistance.

Part Number: ISO1050

Hi, TI expert,

I would like to know ISO1050 reference value from pin to pin as below.

1. VCC1/RXD/TXD - GND1

2. VCC2/CANH/CANL - GND2

Please check. Thank you.

Regards,

  • Hello Eunseok,

Thank you for waiting. The resistance of reach pin to ground is provided below. Please understand that this is only provided as a guideline as the data was taken on one unit.

    1. VCC1/RXD/TXD - GND1
      1. VCC1 to GND1 - 273k-ohm
      2. RXD   to GND1 - 2.913M-ohm
      3. TXD   to GND1 - 7.52M-ohm
    2. VCC2/CANH/CANL - GND2
      1. VCC2  to GND2 - 268k-ohm
      2. CANH to GND2 - 4.44M-ohm
      3. CANL  to GND2 - 4.44M-ohm

    Best,
    Andrew

  • I found out that the PIN TO PIN values for the ISO1050DUBR don't match what I checked. Can I use the values you provided instead, even if they're not specifically for the ISO1050 series?

  • Hello Eunseok,

Yes, you can use the values I provided as a reference point. The values from part to part may vary. Resistance will also change when measured on the board or under test conditions.

Sorry for not mentioning this earlier, but below are the TI rated specs from the 6.9 Electrical Characteristics table. As you can see this is the measurement of the CAN pins while the device is powered and under typical test conditions.

    Best,
    Andrew
