Hi,

We are working on 1200W EV charger (58V, 20A).

Also we are using UCC25640x Design Calculator for calculating & tuning Ln, Qe, Lr & Cr.

In this tool some of the cells are password protected.

Could you please provide the password, so that I can use the tool more effectively.

Hello,

TI does not allow the modification of locked cells in the design calculator.

For this reason, we cannot share the password for the design calculator.

Could you please review the design calculator for the requirements mentioned below and let me know if any improvements to be done.

Input Voltage range: 370 to 420V DC

Nominal input Voltage: 400VDC

Output Voltage: 58VDC

Output Current: 20A.

Hello,

I reviewed the tool and it looks like you understand how it works. What I would recommend is using components that are +/- 10% of the values recommended. I could see in some places you selected components that were > +/- 10%.

There is also a compensation page. When I look at the loop phase and gain it looks like you do not have enough phase margin. You might want to revisit the compensation network to improve the phase margin to greater than 45 degrees.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the clarification. AS per your suggestion, I will revisit the compensation network.

I have another query related to Primary side Mosfet selection for LLC half bridge circuit.

As per the calculation, drain current is coming 8.6A and Voltage 630V. So If I go with less RDSon & Coss Mosfets, the drain current rating will be too high.

Can you guide me how to approach this?
