Tool/software:
I am using ISO7242CDWR for isolating RS232 signals. When I connect ISO7242CDWR on PCB and check for loopback, the data returned is a garbage. If I remove the isolator IC, the loopback on connector side is successful. My RS232 transceiver is working fine without isolator.
MCU ----> RS232 transceiver ----> Isolator ISO7242C ----> DB9 Connector
How else can I debug this? What could have gone wrong?
