ISO6721: Can a USB isolation solution be built using the digital isolator?

I want to isolate the communication of the USB serial port. Can the digital isolator be used for USB isolation? Can this solution be implemented through peripheral circuits?

No. To isolate bidirectional signals, the isolator has to know the protocol.

There are USB isolators like the ISOUSB111/ISOUSB211.
