ISO1050: ISO1050DUB-Recommanded alternate

Hello,

We are using a ISO1050DUB device on our design manufactured into several thousand copies per year.

Among the proposed alternatives by TI we find the following components:

1) ISO1050DUBR

2) ISO1042

3) ISO1044

Why the reference ISO1050DUBR in tape and Reel is active and  ISO1050DUB is obsolete?

We need a long durability for our products, which of the 2 references ISO1042 or ISO1044 would be the most durable ? is ISO1050DUBR suitable for long durability ?

    Hello Mathieu, 

    The ISO1050DUBR *tape and reel packaging) and ISO1050DUB (tube packaging) are the same device, the only difference is packaging. The ISO1050DUB will continue to be manufactured with no plans to obsolete it.

    ISO1042 and ISO1044 are newer devices that will enable a higher data rate and have the most TI isolation technology.
