RS-485 transceivers are commonly used with UARTs.

Do you want to use full duplex or half duplex? For half duplex, you need to control DE with a separate GPIO.

ISOW1432 is a full duplex capable device. Hence Flow Control is not needed in full duplex mode.

I did not get your question here. I'm assuming you're asking about DE and /RE connection in full duplex vs half duplex. If yes then please refer section 11.1 in datasheet for understanding DE and /RE dependency on full duplex and half duplex.
