ISO1050: Layout Guideline for DW package

Hi Team,

There are multiple GND pins on ISO1050 for both MCU and CAN bus side as shown below, do you have a comprehensive layout guideline for ISO1050 DW package? 

For example, does my customer need to do Kelvin connection for pin2 and pin7/8? Same question also applies to 2nd side.

    Hello Charles, 

    The side 1 pins should have no connection to side 2 ins in order to have ideal isolation performance. Same side ground pins (like 2,7,8) can be directly connected to the same ground plane. The protective earth connection is for reference only and does not require a physical connection between sides. 

    The ISO1042DWEVM Evaluation board has a slightly different pinout but it would be the ideal layout for a DW package.
