ISO3082: Icc under Multi-load Condition

Hi Team,

Customer would like to know what's ISO3082's Icc under multi-load condition, the condition is shown as below:

  • 32 load nodes, line length 50m, 38.4kbps, 3ms communication interval
  • 5V VCC, Vidmax is 1.26V
  • Customer test ISO3082 supply current is ~2mA based on full load

    Hello Francis, 

    The data sheet ICC2 is 15mA (max) under a no-load test condition. Based on your description, you are not using termination resistors. Can you confirm? Assuming your application is not using termination resistors, I expect this to be okay since you are measuring below the maximum spec. 

    We do not have a test condition for 32 nodes and line length 50m.
