    NC pin = Not Connected pin

    It is most recommended to leave the NC pin floating. The NC pin does not have to be tied to VCC, GND or any other pins and can be left floating

    As long as the absolute maximum ratings are taken into consideration, GND or VCC can be connected to a NC pin with no impact.

    Violating the absolute maximum ratings can damage the device. Additionally, TI does not guarantee the performance of the device when in violation of the absolute maximum ratings
