ISO1042: Looking for ISO CAN solution to support the design condition

Dear team,

Please help to recommend ISO CAN solution for below conditions. If we don't have, please share the close one and list down which item we cannot support.

Thanks.

  1. Support of (CAN) Wake-Up pattern (ISO 11898-2)
  2. Support of (CAN) Partial networking (ISO 11898-6)
  3. Insulation voltage 1000 V rms
  4. supports CAN FD
  5. support short to Battery, short to GND

They have some special request for the application below.

    Hello Ben, 

    Thank you for your question. ISO1042 will be the best isolated CAN FD device we currently have and can support the below conditions.

    1. Insulation voltage 1000 V rms
    2. supports CAN FD
    3. support short to Battery, short to GND (DC bus fault +/-70V)

    Partial networking and wakeup functionality will need to implement isolation separately using a digital isolator like ISO7742 and a non-isolated transceiver. 

    The customer questions about propagation delay are in the datasheet.

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for your sharing. We also found an app note "SLLA554" which close to our needed.

    Is the solution from SLLA554 good for the application?
