UCC33420: EN/FLT pin

Hi Team,

i have question regarding the spec of the EN/FLT pin. Ien shows that maximum current is 10uA. 

My guess is that this does not refer to the maximum current this input can withstand, rather the maximum output current it has when used as FLT pin. 

Is that correct?

    Khai,

    This spec is saying that when the enable pin is pulled up to 5V it is drawing 10 uA of current. The reason for this is two fold. First it uses a small amount of current because of the fact that it is an input pin and second there is a weak internal pull down resistor that will also draw a bit of of current.
