ISOW1412: ISOW 1412 and SN65176 comparison

Hi team

My customer is currently using SN65176 + NSI8221N1 for RS485 and digital ISO for a 3kW 48V Water pump.

I was wondering how can I persuade them for using our ISOW1412 instead, Can you give me  comparison for SN65176 + NSI8221N1 and ISOW1412 as more as possible please?

    Hi Lee,

    We unfortunately do not have any inputs on customer's discrete solution of SN65176 + NSI8221N1.

    However, in order to persuade them to ISOW1412 - Following major advantages of ISOW1412 can be proposed:

    1. ISOW1412 has integrated RS485 Driver as well as integrated power converter which saves cost and most importantly space in customer's system design.
      1. Provides a 3 in 1 solution for customer - ISOLATION + RS1485 + Integrated Isolated Supply
    2. ISOW1412 best in class radiated emission performance - Check Seismic EMC test report section

    Also, before we propose ISOW1412, I advise you to talk to customer and understand their must have requirements from ISO+RS485 application. That way we can then analyze our device ISOW1412 and refine our proposal accordingly.
