SN6501: Planar transformer

Hello,

My customer is using SN6501 with usual transformer and is considering to change to a planar transformer.

It is the 1st time to consider using a planar transfomer for them.
Then they would like to understand there is any restriction to use it with SN6501.
Is there any difference or spcial cosideration?

Can a planar transformer be basically used in any DC/DC converter ICs?
