Hi,

We need an isolation buffer in a bidirectional application such as SPI, I2C, GPIOs. Could you please suggest the part numbers for single, Dual and Quad channel buffers which is suitable for this applications(3.3V typical) with 125C temperature rating.

Single Channel Buffers:

SPI/ GPIO Buffers: TXU0x01-Q1, AVC1T45-Q1

I2C: N/A

Dual Channel:

SPI/ GPIO Buffers: TXU0x02, AVC2T245-Q1

I2C: TCA9517-Q1

Quad Channel:

SPI/ GPIO Buffers: TXU0x04-Q1

I2C: N/A

Hi Mythili,

For quad channel applications with buffering, the best option would be the TXB0604, however if you are looking for DC driving capability (high IOH/ IOL), there isn't aren't any solutions. Dual channel application would be more limited as the TXB060x is offered in 4 and 6 channel today.

Hi Jack,

Can we use SN74AXC1T45DCKR in the JTAG TDO signal?

This voltage translator is not listed in the JTAG application. Please clarify whether the mentioned part can be used for JTAG application.

Hi Mythili,

Yes this device will support, as the TDO is generally a fixed direction signal from Target device back to host. Please check the switching ch. section of the datasheet to ensure that the desired operating data rate is within the device's limits.

Hi Jack,

In the switching characteristics section, only propagation delay is mentioned. Please let us know the maximum data rate SN74AXC1T45DCKR will support at 3.3V to 1.8V conversions.
