ISO6720: IC operation at -55C

We use ISO6720FB Digital Isolator in our unit. This chip has Operating free-air Temperature range -40C...125C and Storage Temperature range -65C...150C.
Our unit must start operation at -55C ambient. Will ISO6720FB be able to operate at -55C without being damaged, and which parameters of this IC may deteriorate during such operation?

    Hi Alex,

    As this is outside the recommended ambient operating temperature for ISO6720 we cannot guarantee the device will meet spec and/or meet our reliability standards as per the datasheet. Feel free to test the device in your operating conditions using our EVM but, again, we cannot guarantee anything.

    If -55C ambient is required for you I would recommend using the ISO7720 as this has an ambient temperature spec that meets your requirements.
