ISOUSB111: ISOUSB111: Zero inventory - Safe for new designs?

Part Number: ISOUSB111

Hi ,

I am currently evaluating the ISOUSB111 for use in an upcoming new project.

However, I have been monitoring the inventory on the TI website for the past month, and the stock has consistently remained at zero with no updates. Because of this, I have a few concerns before we commit to this part for our design:

Are there any plans for the ISOUSB111 to become obsolete, or will it soon be marked as Not Recommended for New Designs (NRND)?

Given the current stock situation, is it safe and recommended to design this component into a new project right now?

If the part is still fully active, what are the current lead times? What is the recommended procedure for ordering this part while the web inventory shows 0?

Thank you in advance for your help!

  • Hi Zaim,

Thanks for reaching out and your evaluation of ISOUSB111.

First thing I would like to clarify that there is no plan of NRND, Obsolete and any discontinuation of ISOUSB111 - Hence, you can consider using it for your project without any such concern.

Second thing on the inventory - unfortunately we're currently short on stock and it is being worked on. I cannot provide you with a lead time right now, but I recommend you to subscribe to the product availability notification by clicking on "Notify me when available" option in the ordering section so that you get notified when the part becomes available.

Can you let us know the ramp plan of your project and how many devices will you be needing going forward yearly?

    Regards
