SN6505B - using SN6505B(420kHz) in case of 760390015

Hi all,

Would you mind if we ask SN6505B?

Why does Order.No 760390015(on the datasheet P19) prefer to use SN6505B?
(It depends on Equation 3 to 5, right?)

Hi Hirotaka,

Yes. The voltage-second parameter of 760390015 is relatively small. Thus, the converter needs to switch at higher switching frequency in order to avoid transformer saturation. The turns ratio of the transformer is determined based on the input and output voltages.
