Hi team,

I see that the ISO1050 is approved for IEC 60601-1 3rd Ed.

Does this mean that the device is specifically approved for patient protection?

If not, are there any devices that are approved for patient protection?

Yes, ISO1050 (in DW package) is approved for IEC 60601-1 3rd Ed. up to 125 Vrms working voltage for patient protection.

Sorry for the delayed response. I was out of office for a few days last week.

Our CSA certificate (which includes IEC 60601-1 3rd Ed certification) is available online at:

We currently don't have isolated CAN device with 250 Vrms rating per IEC 60601-1 but we have digital isolators, ISO78xx family, that's certified for 250 Vrms rating. In the future, we'll be releasing Isolated CAN with 250 Vrms but I don't have a timeline for that project yet.
