ISO1540 I2C Address - Datasheet lacking information

The datasheet mentions that the device is capable of 16 reserved addresses (page 17). However, how does one address this device no information regarding the registers are given or the device addresses.

  • Hi Yashveer,

The description on Page 17 of datasheet is an overview on I2C in general and doesn't specify anything related to ISO154x except for datarates. Since ISO154x is only a transparent isolator standing between master and slaves it doesn't need to be addressed. The device is neither a master nor a slave to be addressed rather it is a media like a cable with an additional function of electrical isolation.
