ISO7330 : Safety and Regulatory Test Condition

To whom it may concern

Our customer would like to know test condition when these isolator devices approved safety and regulatory.
(ex. IEC61000-4-4)

Safety and regulatory test is done with EVM or single IC ?

Your reply would be appreciated.

    Hi Alpha,

    For TI isolators, the devices generally get certified for isolation ratings by UL, VDE, CSA & CQC. In this case some tests are carried on devices mounted on boards/EVMs while other tests are performed directly on the devices.

    EMC certifications are generally carried out at product level and not at IC level. To assess our devices' capability we do carry EMC tests like ESD, EFT & Surge on our devices and these are generally done on devices mounted on boards/EVMs.
