I have been looking at quad digital isolators with good EMI performance/low emissions from TI.
unless i have been hallucinating, 1-2 months ago, the ISO71XXCC series of digital isolators were recommended on the TI website (Featured products for Digital Isolators) having superior EMI performance.
Checking back again, this ISO71XXCC series is no longer ‘EMI featured’ and has been replaced by a new series of isolators that are featured as “Robust EMC” parts
E.g. the following ISO774X quad channel parts for various forward/reverse configurations.
With that, I was hoping if anyone could provide me some insight on:
1) How would the ISO774X / Robust EMC rated parts compare with the initially featured 71XX series in terms of EMI performance?
2) Has there been any feedback from the field/customers on the EMI performance of the 71XX series?
3) How the 71XX series would compare to other ‘standard’ isolators in terms of EMI. Is there still a distinction in terms of EMI superiority?
Appreciate it
Thanks
