I2C Isolator with 1.8V supply range

Hi ,

I am looking for an I2C isolator similar to the part "ADUM1250ARZ" but with 1.8V supply range. I could not able to find it in TI . May I know if there is any part similar to it from Texas instrument. Kindly suggest.

I typed in your part number in the TI.com cross reference search tool to find parts similar to what you are asking. You are correct these parts do not have a 1.8 V supply.

I will move this thread to the I2C forum to see if that they have any solutions for you..

Hello Vishal,

I have moved this to the digital isolation forum. You could do a I2C translator with a Digital Isolator (ISO1540/1). There are other parts within the isolation section of TI.

A 1.8V isolator might be hard to find, that is why I was suggestion voltage isolation/level shifter in between Micro and isolation.

Hi Vishal,

Just confirming what Adam said, we do not have an I2C isolator that supports 1.8V.

ISO1540 is the closest match to ADuM1250.
