ISO7421: GND shift feasible?

Part Number: ISO7421

Hello Team,

I need to isolate a bipolar supply of +/- 3 V  from a 3.3-V signal. This means that the common-mode voltage between GND1 and GND2 would be 3 V. Would this work? Is this allowed (abs-max) with any of the digital isolators (such as the ISO7421)? I couldn't find this information in the d/s, maybe I missed something...

My requirements:

  • VCC1 = 3.3 V to GND1 = GND
  • VCC2 = 3 V and GND2 = -3 V

Thanks.

Best Regards.

Ilona
